Words vs. Deeds

This administration claims to be pro-clean tech. This administration claims to support innovation, entrepreneurship and job creation. This administration denies trying to lock-away federal lands from energy-related activities, as it pursues an “all of the above” energy strategy. But those are just words. When you begin looking a little more closely at deeds, a different picture emerges, as anyone familiar with this case of regulatory food-dragging quickly grasps.

If these are the kinds of hassles, delays, shakedowns and disappointments most innovators and entrepreneurs confront when dealing with hidebound federal bureaucracies, it’s no wonder the nation’s economy is stuck in neutral. If this administration were truly interested in all the things it says it’s interested in, regarding the economy and energy sector, this sort of nightmare story just wouldn’t be happening.
